French Trip

 

Provisional details for our proposed French weekend break:-

 

Day 1:-

Leave Westminster Lodge carp park to catch 11:00am Dover ferry arriving in Calais approx 1:30pm local time then drive to Eperney via Arras and St Quentin for a one night stay at the Ibis Centre Ville hotel, covered parking available.

Distance 100 mile.

 

Day 2:-

After breakfast visit the Moet and Chandon cellars for a tour of the Caves and old buildings with tasting at the end of the tour. 14.50 Euro per person.  Drive to Beaune via Troyes along one of the many wine routes for a two night stay at the Ibis Beaune Centre also with covered parking.

 

Day 3:-

After breakfast drive to the Museum of The Chateau de Savigny with its large collection Abarth racing cars, over 500 motor cycles and a large collection of post Second World War jet aircraft. After lunch return to Beaune to visit the Old Town and the Hospice de Beaune.

 

Day 4:-

Return to Dover via another wine route with comfort beaks arriving in time for the 6:30pm ferry.

Distance 258 miles.

 

Cost £250.00 based upon 2 people sharing a twin or double bedroom.

 

What is included:-

• Hotels on bed and breakfast basis.
• Return ferry Dover Calais

 

What is not included:-

• Travel and ‘get you home insurance’.
• Entry into venues.
• Fuel.

 

Space will be limited to 8 cars.  There are 4 spaces remaining.
